Early Times Mint Julep

Make simple syrup by boiling 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water together. Add 6 sprigs of fresh mint, cover and refrigerate overnight if possible.
In a sterling cup filled with crushed ice, add 1 tablespoon of simple syrup and 2 ounces of Early Times Mint Julep Bourbon. Stir quickly without touching the outer edge of the cup until it is frosted evenly and garnish with fresh mint sprig.
